Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Performance Analyst will report to the Team Leader European Performance Measurement and supervise other team members working on Segregated Equity Mandates.
- Form a part of and support the day to day activities of the Company’s Europe’s performance measurement team.
- Assist the performance measurement Team Leader with the management of segregated equity performance responsibilities and team members to ensure effective delivery of the business as usual objectives of the team.
- Work closely with the Client Relationship Officers and Client Relationship Managers, the client support group (who are responsible for client reporting) and the Equity Portfolio Managers, to assess their performance needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of external client and internal Portfolio Manager driven segregated equity performance requirements on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
- Field performance related queries from internal and external clients, ensuring resolution in all cases.
Essential Skills and experience
- Investment management or investment banking experience.
- Performance measurement experience, including detailed knowledge of equity attribution and a working knowledge of attribution across fixed income.
- Proven capability in Equity attribution
- Management/supervisory experience.
- Performance measurement skills -technically proficient across all asset classes and instruments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities – ability to interact with all levels of the organisation including senior management and business heads
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Proven capability in MS Office applications, specifically Word, and Excel
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
