INSTITUTIONAL INVESTMENT WRITER, MARKETING AREA, ASSET MANAGEMENT, C£50,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS, LONDON SW1
This is a great opportunity for an experienced RFP Writer to join this growing Product & Marketing team and assist the Sales, Service, Marketing and Product business in the production of investment writing primarily targeted at institutional clients from consultants to local authorities and charities.
The Role:
- To organise and implement to deadlines and to a high standard the regular writing schedule of the investment communications area within the institutional business.
- To help improve the content and quality of all investment marketing materials for the institutional business in conjunction with the Marketers.
- To act as one of the contact points for product and investment Specialists within other Group entities with regard to the production of written materials and pitch books for the core product lines.
- To assist with other external sales and marketing activities relating to product information, investment view and thought leadership on behalf of the business in conjunction with the media relations team
- To act as a champion for change in terms of continuously raising the profile of the Company’s investment solutions and expertise in the UK, both internally and to other offices globally working closely with colleagues in a similar role across various locations.
Ideal Skills/Competencies
- Absolute minimum IMC qualified (further professional investment qualifications preferred)
- Experience of working within a similar role within Asset Management
- Client facing aptitude and excellent communication skills across all levels and a string command of written and spoken English
- Previous experience of writing Fact Sheets, commentaries and articles
- Able to demonstrate experience of delivering a quality product to challenging deadlines
- The ability to prioritise and organise effectively
- Ability to deal with Fund Managers/Senior Management at all levels
- Ability to support other priorities outside of primary role (good team player)
- Ability to manipulate investment databases and performance software (Datastream, Lipper etc)
