PENSION FUND CLIENT SERVICES, RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, MAJOR GLOBAL BANKING GROUP, TO £40,000 PLUS EXCELLENT PACKAGE, CITY

This is a great career opportunity for a professional, motivated candidate with a knowledge of Custody and proven client facing skills to work with this established client facing team of 9.  The emphasis on this position is servicing client and building effective client relationships and is part of the Account Management team working in close conjunction with the Relationship Managers.  The CSR is responsible for dealing professionally, effectively and efficiently with all day to day queries, requirements and issues raised by UK and Irish Pension Fund clients.  They act as the internal advocate within the Bank for the client and therefore.  This is a progressive environment, the team will invest in new members of staff and there is the opportunity to learn, develop your skills and progress.

The Role

  • Respond to all client queries, provide regular updates and build and maintain good client relationships in order to facilitate confidence in the department and assist in continued growth.
  • Analyse key trend indicators and identify steps that must be taken by the Bank or the client to improve efficiencies and quality levels (Cash, Trades activity, STP levels, Scorecards etc).
  • Conduct Service reviews on a regular basis with the client, identifying service gaps, creating plans and taking responsibility to close those gaps within agreed time-frames.
  • Attend existing/new relationship meetings to fully understand the clients’ requirements in relation to account set up, trading and reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with core operational departments and Relationship Managers therefore ensuring the achievement of Asset Servicings’ overall objectives.
  • Work in partnership with Relationship Managers to fully understand existing relationship and agree client plans for future growth.
  • Conduct and coordinate client training for new products and services.

Skills and Experience

  • Some working knowledge of Custody and accounting products essential in order to understand client problems.
  • Proven experience in a Client Service or client facing role within the financial sector.
  • Experience of UK Pension Fund sector ideally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including 1 st class written and verbal ability.
  • Common sense and an interest in the role with a desire to add value and learn.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and able to work under own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise issues and identify risk and the need for escalation when appropriate.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Flexible, team player.
  • Tenacious, well organised, well presented and motivated to deliver superior client service.
