The Role:
Working as part of a professional team liaising with various departments and clients across all levels this is a great opportunity for a bright, articulate candidate with excellent written and spoken English to join this exciting Marketing team. Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Respond to investment manager search questionnaires (Requests for Proposals), updates and miscellaneous requests from consultants and prospective clients with the goal of attaining new business for the firm. You will also assist with client due diligences and questionnaires.
- Gather information from various departments within the firm, write appropriate marketing responses, and complete proposals on deadline.
- Interact extensively with senior investment professionals throughout the firm.
- Act as a liaison with various departments, including portfolio management, legal, operations, involved in maintaining client relationships and fulfilling various requests.
- Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented, with strong writing, analytical and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work well with deadlines.
- Self-starter able to master all aspects of the institutional investments business.
- Demonstrate desire to learn all of the technical aspects of the firm including the philosophy, research and investment processes of our products.
- Demonstrate initiative and good judgment coupled with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in order to ensure that client requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Able to work well both independently and within a team.
- Must be comfortable interacting with professionals at all levels within the firm.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- University education.
- Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Computer experience (Word/Excel) is a must.
