PERFORMANCE ANALYST – FIXED INCOME SPECIALIST, ASSET MANAGEMENT C£55,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS – CITY
Our client is one of the world’s largest Fund Managers working with institutional and private clients around the World.
They are currently seeking a Fixed Income Performance Analyst to join their Performance Measurement team and work closely with the Fixed Income Fund Managers to develop their Fixed Income capabilities. Reporting into the Head of the European Performance Measurement and working closely with the Global Head of Performance Measurement, this role will also be working closely with other members of the Performance Team to ensure consistency between the numbers reported by other members of the team and the Attribution produced.
Qualifications / Education
- Degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent experience
- CFA or Masters in Finance qualification
Experience Required
- Investment Management or Investment Banking experience
- Performance Measurement experience, including detailed knowledge of Fixed Income attribution and a working knowledge of Fixed Income attribution systems.
- Experience of Fixed Income attribution analysis.
- Experience of working with quantitatively-oriented Fund Managers
- Proven capability in Fixed Income attribution
- Knowledge of quantitative investment techniques
- Proven knowledge of Fixed Income Derivatives.
Skills and Aptitudes
- Performance measurement skills – highly technically proficient in Fixed Income instruments with some knowledge of Fixed Income derivatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities – ability to interact with all levels of the organisation including senior management and business heads
- Strong team player able to operate effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Proven capability in MS Office applications, specifically Word, and Excel
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Highly numerate
- Excellent analysis and decision making skills together with ability to forward plan
- Organised and thorough, attention to detail
- Fixed Income specialist
