RESEARCH ANALYST OIL & GAS WITH RUSSIAN – SELL-SIDE GLOBAL RESEARCH C£65,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS & BONUS, W1

Our client is a premier independent sell-side research firm whose research is sought by leading Investment Managers Globally and is consistently ranked top in its’ league.  They are renowned by their Black-books, reports known for their unbiased, in-depth company and industry forecasts and their reputation is for the very highest calibre of disciplined investment and industry analysis.

They are looking for a Russian speaking Oil & Gas Analyst to join their team in London. This is typically 3-5 year position with outstanding growth potential.

Job Qualifications

The Research Associate will have a track record of outstanding professional performance, excellent analytical and financial skills (practical knowledge of financial statement analysis and modelling are important), relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level.

Stellar intellectual and academic credentials are essential, including honours and awards, and test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above (minimum of 360 UCAS points and a minimum 2.1 degree gained from a leading redbrick university). We want a consummate team player who seeks a highly rigorous and challenging environment for their career development and who understands that this role is structured for a 3-5 year period.

MBAs from top business schools, advanced degrees in Finance or Engineering, or credentials such as the CFA and ACA are also preferred.

Job Description

Research Associates contribute to the content and distribution of the acclaimed and highly differentiated research product at all levels:

Conducting in-depth analysis of the industry and publicly-traded companies in the sector

• Building and maintaining detailed financial models including forecasts
• Drafting and writing research reports
• Helping formulate investment opinions
• Interacting with company managements, sales and trading, and our institutional client base

Participation in the CFA program is encouraged. FSA will be required.
