Our client is a premier independent sell-side research firm whose research is sought by leading Investment Managers Globally and is consistently ranked top in its’ league.  They are renowned for their Blackbooks, reports known for their unbiased, in-depth company and industry forecasts and their reputation is for the very highest calibre of disciplined investment and industry analysis.

They are currently recruiting for a Junior Research Analyst covering the Oil & Gas sector.  All research roles at this level with the Firm are typically 3-5 year positions with outstanding growth potential.

Job Qualifications
We are looking for the best Research Associates who typically have track records of outstanding professional performance, excellent analytical and financial skills (practical knowledge of financial statement analysis and modelling are important for these positions), relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level.

tellar intellectual and academic credentials are essential, including honours and awards, and test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above (minimum of 360 UCAS points and a minimum 2.1 degree gained from a leading redbrick university). Candidates for Research Associate positions typically have MBAs from top business schools, advanced degrees in Finance or Engineering, or credentials such as the CFA and ACA.

Job Description
Research Associates contribute to the content and distribution of our acclaimed and highly differentiated research product at all levels:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of the industry and publicly-traded companies in the sector
• Building and maintaining detailed financial models including forecasts
• Drafting and writing research reports
• Helping formulate investment opinions
• Interacting with company managements, sales and trading, and our institutional client base

Participation in the CFA program is encouraged. FSA will be required.

We are unable to consider applications from candidates who have under a 2:1 degree which must have been gained from a reputable university and all A’ Levels should be at A grade.
