MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR, RISK MANAGEMENT - CONTRACT, FINANCE TO £35,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS, CITY

Our client is currently recruiting for a Membership Coordinator to join their Membership and Customer Training team, part of Risk Management for a 12 month maternity cover, with an immediate start.  The role requires attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines and a high level of confidentiality together with previous experience within a client focussed role and good administration skills.

THE ROLE

The Membership team is responsible for processing new Member applications and liaising with Members on extensions, resignations and other changes to their membership status. The team’s main responsibilities are:

  • Co-ordinating all new and existing Member applications, resignations, changes and ad hoc queries including processing of legal documentation and approval of static data.
  • Communicating with Members; Exchanges and internal departments and maintaining all Member information.
  • Creating and maintaining supporting membership documentation, procedures and checklists.
  • Co-ordinating and implementing new project initiatives including new markets, products and systems.
  • Maintaining contacts for Default Fund correspondence and co-ordinating ballots.
  • Identifying and implementing changes to Membership Criteria.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with Customer Training tasks, including identifying and designing training programmes for new members.
  • Assisting in ad hoc project and department tasks as required.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Maintaining the Risk Management System and associated spreadsheets.
  • Maintaining supporting Membership documentation, procedures and checklists.
  • Maintaining and co-ordinating changes to the operational procedures in place with the Exchanges and operational procedures in place.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and ongoing development of new projects and existing processes and the activities which support these.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE                                                                                                       

  • Good GCSE results (inc. English and Maths)
  • Proven IT Skills – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Customer focused with proven experience of working within a customer focussed position
  • Good administration skills, result orientated and able to meet deadlines                    
  • Effective communication skills and good team working ability   
  • Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
  • Good written and spoken English 
  • Organisational skills
