SENIOR RFP SPECIALIST - VP, GLOBAL ASSET MANAGERS, TO £60,000 PLUS BENS, CITY
Working within this major Global City based Asset Managers as part of the Global Consultant Relations (GCR) which plays a key role in aiding the effort to win new business. The team essentially consists of two main elements; RFP (Request for Proposals) and consultant relationship responsibilities.
The team liaises closely with colleagues across the Global Client Group and Portfolio Management Group to deliver high quality, consistent and cohesive quantitative and qualitative information to prospects and consultants. As the Senior RFP Specialist – VP you will play an important role in this critical component of winning new business. This role will provide excellent potential for personal development and career progression, working in a globally focused professional, successful fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- RFP completion and data management
- Understand the organisation’s products, strategies, structure and unique selling points; communicate these in completing RFPs and other new business related documents to win assets
- Work on a wide range of products including LDI, Fixed Income, Equity and Alternative Investments, eventually specialising in certain preferred products. Meanwhile, create a partnership with the Product teams to develop a full understanding of the team and how they invest
- Contribute to continual population and development of the proposals database, refreshing and improving answers on an ongoing basis
Consultant Specific
- Take ownership, with a Lead Account Manager, of one or more consultant relationships to provide excellent client service and gain relationship management experience. This includes responsibility for completion of quarterly and ad hoc consultant requests
Requirements/Qualifications
- Extensive RFP experience from an Asset Management firm
- Demonstration of good investment knowledge across key asset classes
- Strong relationship management skills
- Degree qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A motivated individual that demonstrates drive and enthusiasm. Willing to learn, innovate and improve
- Team player and an enthusiastic “can do” attitude
- Good organisational skills, ability to manage own priorities and meet hard deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
