RFP SPECIALIST – ASSOCIATE/ANALYST, GLOBAL ASSET MANAGERS, C£45,000+ PLUS BENS, CITY
Our client a major Global Asset Managers’ are seeking an experienced RFP Specialist at Associate level to join their RFP function within Global Consultant Relations which is uniquely positioned within the Business. Working closely with both Product areas and Sales teams; and covering the UK, Europe, US and Far East; the team presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to these areas of the business and to gain a wealth of knowledge about the Company, its’ position in the market and the products they manage. You will play an important role in this critical component of winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
- RFP completion and data management
- Understand their products, strategies, structure and unique selling points; communicate these in completing RFPs and other new business related documents to win assets
- Work on a wide range of products including LDI, Fixed Income, Equity and Alternative Investments, eventually specialising in certain preferred products. Meanwhile, create a partnership with the Product teams to develop a full understanding of the team and how they invest
- Contribute to continual population and development of the proposals database, refreshing and improving answers on an ongoing basis
Consultant Specific
- Take ownership, with a Lead Account Manager, of one or more consultant relationships to provide excellent client service and gain relationship management experience. This includes responsibility for completion of quarterly and ad hoc consultant requests
- Work with the Global Head of Databases to co-ordinate the maintenance of products and build and sustain our presence on consultant databases. This includes ensuring that deadlines are met and regular full reviews of products on these databases are undertaken
Requirements/Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified individual with financial services experience within an RFP team for an asset management company
- A motivated individual that demonstrates drive and enthusiasm. Willing to learn, innovate and improve
- Team player and an enthusiastic “can do” attitude
- Good organisational skills, ability to manage own priorities and meet hard deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
