EMEA OPERATIONS & ADMIN: TRANSFER AGENCY INITIATIVES TEAM MANAGER – VP LEVEL, To £75,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS, CITY
Working within this major Global City based Asset Managers as part of the Operations & Administration – Transfer Agency Initiatives Team which plays the lead role in ensuring product and process projects, relating to Transfer Agency, are delivered across their EMEA region fund ranges.
In the region, the Company employs several Transfer Agents across various jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland and Luxembourg. Multiple product types including UK AUT’s, UUT’s, ISA’s, Lux SICAV, UCITS III and Money Market Funds are held. The Team is responsible for all project interactions with the Transfer Agent, various teams within the organisation and other associated service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume the Team Manager role ensuring:
- Resources are allocated against project pipeline
- Project plans, milestones and timelines are in place for all projects
- Project reporting is accurate and timely
- Actively manage projects, as a team member, across product and process driven events, such as:
- New Fund / Share Class launches
- Fund / Share Class mergers and closures
- Fund Dealing related processes
- Compliance/Legal initiatives and regulatory changes
- Client Service initiatives
- Technology upgrades
- Establish a close working relationship with the Company’s Retail Business management and teams
- Maintain relationships with Transfer Agents as the Initiatives Manager
Key Skills
Work Experience
- Proven experience within a UK & European Transfer Agency environment
- Previous Project Management experience, preferably within Mutual Funds space
- Experience of managing people against project deliverables
