Global Wealth Management and Business Banking combining one of the World’s leading Wealth Management businesses, a leading Retail Bank and one of the top Private Client Businesses in the World providing a comprehensive array of customised banking and securities services Globally.

The Role

Working within Fund Services Operations our client is looking for a new member of staff with previous experience of working with Hedge Funds and Unit Trusts to join them as a Funds Execution Securities Specialist at Authorised Office level.  The team is responsible for the timely execution of Unit Trusts, Hedge Funds and Life Wrapped Products; Off Shore Bonds on behalf of clients providing a quality, effective and robust service to the Front Office whilst looking to develop and improve working systems for these in order to mitigate risk.  In addition they ensure procedures are maintained and created when required to support new products and processes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Unit Trusts and Hedge Funds – essential
• Ability to pick up new procedures and adapt to working across products at short notice whilst working within the teams controls
• Ability to be aware of operational and identify risk facing the team, understand the relevant local procedure aimed at controlling risk and consistently work within these controls
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professional behaviour
• Ability to build good working relationships with the Front/Middle Office, Legal and Compliance desks
• Ability to deal with ad hoc requests relating to Dealing issues
• Strong communication and organisation skills are essential
