CLIENT RELATIONSHIP ASSISTANT – PRIVATE BANKING TO £22,000 PLUS EXCELLENT BENS, CITY

Our client, a prestigious, established Global Private Bank offering its’ clients an unrivalled breadth and depth of private banking services and based in the heart of the City is currently seeking a second jobber with a little general banking experience who is looking to develop their career along the lines of a Relationship Officer/Manager.  The role will be to support the Relationship Managers and Officers within the Client Value Team, handling day to day routine transactions and queries, monitoring incoming emails to the Private Banking Support Team and ensuring action taken where appropriate to escalate matters to Relationship Officers/Managers as required.

The Role:

• Maintain effective diary system and ensuring allocated tasks are actioned in good time
• Action the daily KYC reports as per instruction from the RMs, telephoning the clients where necessary
• Prepare the KYC parameter amendment forms as and when required – the ability to understand the purpose of the function rather than having any direct experience
• On receipt of new account pack from DMU, prepare and co-ordinate despatch of the welcome letter together with relevant documentation and diarising the cooling off period
• Distribute the team’s post as and when required
• Complete audit letters, ensuring fees charged where appropriate
• Completion of monthly schedules for Family Office clients

Required Skills & Experience:

• Some previous banking experience including customer service skills
• Good understanding of the Banks payment methods – BACS / DDs / SOs / CHAPS / SWIFT / Drafts
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines – good time management
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy and reliability
• Good knowledge MS Outlook, Word and Excel applications
• Willing and committed with good organisational and administration skills
• Professional manner, good written and spoken English and a good personal appearance
